Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (AAA)
The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), one of 52 in Pennsylvania, is responsible for the planning and implementation of a variety of services and programs to assist older adults and their families.


Bucks County Assistance Office
Residents of Pennsylvania can seek assistance and a range of services for themselves and their families from professionally trained staff members at County Assistance Offices.


Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services
The Bucks County Children and Youth Social Services Agency is responsible under Pennsylvania Public Law to receive and investigate reports of child abuse and neglect, provide for the temporary care of children not able to remain with their own families and develop community-wide social service programs that promote family stability.


Bucks County Council for Individuals with Disabilities (BCCID)
The mission of the Bucks County Council for Individuals with Disabilities is to advocate for and enable persons with disabilities to improve their quality of life, enjoy equal access, and to enlighten the community with regard to the needs of persons with disabilities.


Bucks County Intermediate Unit (BCIU)
Working with the State Department of Education and the local school districts, the Intermediate Unit provides programs and services to Bucks County Schools in a highly cost-effective manner. Since IU’s do not have taxing power, local school district contributions support the majority of the programs offered by IU’s.
