Glenn joins the CIL after graduating with a degree in communications from Temple University in May 2006.
As the system advocate for the CIL, Glenn has the opportunity to meet with various groups in and around Bucks County and address community and consumer concerns. He always goes to great lengths when it comes to researching various issues relevant to the community.
Glenn is also a key contributor to the CIL newsletter, whether it be writing an article or doing research for one.
When not at work, Glenn enjoys reading, watching TV and building his credentials as an amateur writer.
Born and raised in the Trenton area of New Jersey, Kimm moved to Bucks County in 1992. Kimm joined the CIL BC with a background in the banking industry, as well as customer service and administration. Being a parent of a child with disabilities, Kimm has first hand knowledge of the frustration and needs of people with disabilities. Kimm has also volunteered for a few non-profit organizations, such as The American Heart Association, United Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey and the RWJUHH Foundation. Kimm is very compassionate about helping people and feels that the rewards are priceless when the smallest of tasks are achieved!
Kimm is married to Tom and they have four children and a granddaughter. When time allows, Kimm and Tom enjoy spending time in the Pocono Mountains where someday they hope to retire. She also enjoys her gardens, but must admit that all the credit for the beautiful gardens goes to Tom. Family, friends and laughter are key ingredients in their home.
Donna Daubenspeck, Information and Referral Coordinator
Donna joins CILBC as the new Information and Referral Coordinator. Her main duties include being the first point of contact for many incoming calls to assess the caller’s needs. She then gathers the relevant information that will eventually assist these individuals, businesses, and community contacts. Donna also stays up-to-date on the most recent information, resources, and technologies that can assist those who call CILBC. She is imperative in determining which CILBC staff member can best assist each caller.
Donna’s customer service history; which includes banking, retail, and dispatching, only accentuates her personal experiences in working with and for persons with disabilities. Donna is the wife, mother, and grandmother of persons with disabilities and understands how easily good information and a real person to talk to can provide hope, even in the direst of situations.
In her free time, Donna enjoys watching mystery and action movies, spending time with her pug named Baby, traveling, and reading. Donna hopes to travel to Alaska in the near future.
